Chelsfield War Memorial
Chelsfield (St. Martin's) Parish Church

The memorials is a burnished brass plaque which is fixed to the wall of the entrance porch of the church. It has inscribed 52 names of those men commemorated from the 1914-1918 war and a further 20 from the 1939-1945 war. It has the following inscriptions: "To the glory of god and in proud remembrance of those who gave their lives in two world wars." (above) "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (below)
