Adinkerke Military Cemetery was started by the British XV Corps in 1917; when it was used by the 24th and 39th Casualty Clearing Stations. The cemetery then continued to be used spasmodically until 1919. In 1918, a French extension was made to the West of the site, but this was later removed.

 

GENERAL DIRECTIONS: from Veurne the N39 Duinkerkerkestraat leads for 6km to the village of Adinkerke, on reaching Adinkerke the cemetery is located first left on the Kromfortstraat, to the left of the road.

 

Further Information: Parking can be difficult and access is via a 50m grassed path.
