The cemetery named after the nearby farm was started by Australian units on June 7th 1917, the opening day of the Battle of Messines. It contains burials of 44 men, 43 of whom are Australian from the early days of that battle and further fighting in September 1917.
GENERAL DIRECTIONS: Located 10km south of Ieper and 1km south east of Mesen, take the N365 Ieper-Armentieres road to Mesen, the cemetery lies 1km through the Mesen marketplace on Rijselstraat to the left of the road.
Access to this cemetery can be difficult, especially in wet weather.
