BETHLEEM FARM WEST CEMETERY

Mesen

West-Vlaanderen

Belgium

Made by the Australian 3rd Division who captured the Farm on June 7th 1917, the opening day of the Battle of Messines, the cemetery was used until the end of 1917 by the 14th (Light Division).

GENERAL DIRECTIONS: Located 10km south of Ieper and 1km south east of Mesen, take the N365 Ieper-Armentieres road to Mesen, the cemetery lies 1km through the Mesen marketplace on Rijselstraat to the right of the road.

Access is fair, there is a hard track towards the farm where it is possible to park a vehicle, although there is no turning area and this is the entrance to the farm, so it may be unwise to leave a vehicle here at times.
