GENERAL DIRECTIONS: Leave Ieper by  taking the Elverdingsestraat, then over two roundabouts in J. Capronstraat, the Poperingseweg is a continuation of this road and begins after the railway crossing. 6km along this road after passing the village of Vlamertinge and just beyond the church in the hamlet of Brandhoek is a left turn into Grote Branderstraat, which is reached by crossing the dual carriageway, take the first right into Zevekotestraat The cemetery is 300m on the left of this road. Access and parking are easy.

 

In August 1917 due to the continuing Allied Offensive, it was necessary to open a third cemetery in this area after the closure of Brandhoek Military and Brandhoek New Military cemeteries, No.3 cemetery was then used continuously until May 1918. The gates to the cemetery were presented by Mr. G.H. Strutt, father of Lieutenant A.H. Strutt who is buried in plot IV of the cemetery.
