GENERAL DIRECTIONS: Leave Ieper through the Lille Gate and cross the Ieper ring road towards Armentieres and Lille, the road then changes name to Rijselseweg and after 1km turn left into Komenseweg. A further 2.3km on the right is the turn onto Vaartstraat; the cemetery is 1.5km along this road on the right.
The cemetery was begun, and used by front line troops in March 1915-November 1917. It is named after a farmhouse which stood nearby; many of the burials here are of men from the 2nd Manchester Regiment (Plot I) who died April-July 1915.
