GENERAL DIRECTIONS: Leave Ieper by Elverdingsestraat, straight over two small roundabouts into J. Capronstraat, after the prominent railway crossing the road changes name to Poperingseweg (N308), continue for 4km into Vlamertinge and just beyond the church on the right is Hospitaalstraat, a further 2.5 km on the left is the cemetery.

 

Further Information: Access to the cemetery is via a very bumpy, muddy field, which is often used for livestock and can be difficult at the best of times.

 

Hospital Farm was the name given to a farm building which was used as a dressing station. The cemetery was started in, 1915 and widely used both in that year and 1917 by fighting units and artillery batteries that fought in this area.
