GENERAL DIRECTIONS: Ingooigem is a village and commune 14km east of Kortrijk. The Military Cemetery is in fields on the north-east side of the village, on a track which leaves the Ronse (Renaix) road near the church.

 

Ingoyghem Military Cemetery was originally started by German troops for the burial of their dead; these burials now make up the southern plot of the cemetery. The Commonwealth burials are those of men who fell in the last days of the war during the advance to victory.
