GENERAL DIRECTIONS: The cemetery is North East of Ieper, from the railway station go left and drive along M. Fochalaan to the roundabout, go right and follow the road too the next roundabout. Turn left and drive to the traffic lights, then right onto the dual carriageway (A19) direction of Poelkapelle, continue for about 1km over the river, you will then see a sign for New Irish Farm Cemetery, turn left here go to the crossroads and left again, the cemetery is on the left about 50 metres past Divisional Collecting Post Cemetery and Extension, there is no area for parking by this cemetery, so it is advisable to park outside Divisional Collecting Post and walk down to the cemetery.
This cemetery was started in February 1916 by the 10th and 11th King’s Royal Rifle Corps; more graves were added in July and August 1917. The cemetery takes its name from a farmhouse which once stood close by.
