GENERAL DIRECTIONS: Take the N365 Ieper-Armentieres road, continue to the village of Ploegsteert and upon reaching the village take the left turn onto rue de Ploegsteert, the cemetery is 1km on the right.

 

This cemetery was started by the 1st East Lancashire Regiment (84 graves) and the 1st Hampshire Regiment (56 graves) in November 1914, it was used as a frontline cemetery until March 1916 and occasionally later. The cemetery fell into German hands from April-September 1918 and they also made a few burials during this period.
