GENERAL DIRECTIONS: From Tournai the N7 Chauseee de Tournai leads to Leuze en Hainaut, shortly after crossing the railway bridge on the boulevard du Prince Regent is the right turn onto Chemin du Vieuxpont, the second left off this road leads onto the Chemin de Beloeil and a further 600m along this road lies the cemetery.

 

Further Information: Access to the cemetery is easy and parking adequate, it should be noted that access is restricted to local cemetery opening hours, the British plot is in the southern corner of the cemetery, to the right of the entrance.

 

Leuze was in German hands throughout the majority of the war, it was entered by British troops on 10th November 1918. The Communal Cemetery was used by German medical units and during the last fortnight of November, 1918, by No.44 and No.2 Canadian Casualty Clearing Stations.
