GENERAL DIRECTIONS: Take the N365 Ieper-Armentieres road to Mesen, after reaching Mesen continue for 2km and take a left turn on to rue St Yvon, continue along this road and park your vehicle outside Prowse Point Cemetery. Just further on is a right turn which is blocked to vehicles, take this road and a further 300m on the right is Mud Corner cemetery.
Further Information: Access to the cemetery is easy, but the nearest parking area is outside Prowse Point Cemetery at the top of the track.
The name Mud Corner was given to a road junction on the northern edge of Ploegsteert Wood, very close to the front line. The cemetery here was started on June 7th 1917, when the New Zealand Division captured Messines, it continued to be used until December 1917. All the burials, with the exception of one are members of the Australian and New Zealand forces.
