GENERAL DIRECTIONS: From the station  turn left and follow M Fochlaan to the roundabout, take a right  and continue to the next roundabout before going left into M Haiglaan, continue along this road to the traffic lights and turn right onto the A19 in the direction of Poelkapelle, continue for about 1km, going over the river, turn left into Briekestraat, go past New Irish Farm Cemetery and continue to the crossroads, go straight over into Moortelweg and go to the next crossroads before turning left, the cemetery is 400m on the left. Parking can be difficult and access is via a grass path.

 

The cemetery is named after a building which stood on the south side of Admiral’s Road in between Boezinge and Wieltje. It was started in July 1917 and used until March 1918. Many of the burials are men of the 51st (Highland) Division.
