GENERAL DIRECTIONS: Leaving Ieper via the Lille Gate, take the N336 towards Armentieres, 900m after the crossroads is the right hand turn onto Kemmelseweg (N331), just by the railway crossing. Continue down this road and 2km after reaching the village of Kemmel is a left turn onto Hooghofstraat, after 500m is a left turn into Lindestraat. The cemetery can be found 250m on the right of this road.

Wulverghem was the scene of a German gas attack in April 1916, which was repulsed by the 3rd and 24th Divisions. The village was captured by the enemy on 14th  April 1918 before being re-occupied by the 30th Division in September 1918. Packhorse Farm was the name given to a farm on the eastern side of the most direct road from Lindenhoek to Wulverghem, and this cemetery was one of two made by the 46th (North Midland) Division during their occupation of the sector in 1915. The cemetery had a relatively short lifespan, only being used from April-June 1915.
