GENERAL DIRECTIONS: From the Langemarck markt take the Statiestraat towards Bikschote, continue over the disused railway line before going first left into Melkerijstraat, follow this road for 800m, going past a milk factory and round the sharp right bend in the road, this is followed by a sharp left bend and there is a track to the cemetery which leads straight on from the bend. Access and parking is easy.

The farm which gave its name to the cemetery was taken by the Guards Division on 8th October 1917; the cemetery was then begun by the Division’s Burial Officer. It then continued to be used, especially by Artillery units until November 1917.
