GENERAL DIRECTIONS: Take the N8 towards Kortrijk via Menen and Wevelgem, it then joins the southbound A17 towards Aalbeke. 3km after joining the A17 is the junction with the E17 towards Gent, take this road for 12km before turning right at junction 4 onto the N36 towards Vichte. The village of Vichte is located 6km along the N36; upon reaching the village the cemetery is located by taking the right turn onto Beukenhofstraat for 800m, then second right into Lendedreef and finally left onto Elf Novemberlaan. The cemetery is on the left of this road.
This cemetery was begun in October 1918, during the final advance, when the Royal Newfoundland Regiment took the railway station here. The village itself was captured two days later by the 9th (Scottish) Division. Originally the cemetery consisted of Rows A, B and part of C; the remainder were added after the armistice.
