GENERAL DIRECTIONS: Take the N375 Dikkebusseweg, this can be found on the right immediately after the railway station in the direction of Poperinge. After 10km along the Dikkebuseweg (N375) turn right into Sulferbergstraat (N315), after 2.5km is the village of Westouter. The cemetery is located on the Poperingestraat, 200m from the centre of the village, opposite the fire station.
The cemetery was started in October 1917 and continued to be used until April 1918, it was then used by French units until August 1918. The French graves, which numbered 72, were removed after the armistice, and 50 British graves were brought in from small cemeteries and the surrounding battlefields.
