The church at Bassevelle
Bassevelle is a small village in the Department of Seine et Marne, halfway between La Ferte-Sous-Jouarre and Montmirail (D407). Turn onto the D222 in the direction of Nogent l'Artaud. The village is on the first road on your left. The cemetery is beside the church in the middle of the village, and the war graves are adjacent to the entrance gates on the left.
Bassevelle Communal Cemetery contains four Commonwealth burials of the Second World War, all airmen, and four First World War burials, 3 of which are unidentified.
