Choisy-au-Bac Communal Cemetery

Choisy-au-Bac is a commune in the Deprtment of the Oise. There is one Commonwealth burial here, in the north-east corner.
Note how the plot is partially surrounded on three sides - it cam be difficult to find the grave. There is no forename or initials on the CWGC database, but the headstone shows initial D. Further research reveals his name is David.

 

 

 

Burial Details:

L/Cpl. David McKAY 5th (Royal Irish) Lancers. 10th Sept. 1914, aged 23. Son of Hugh McKay of Mid Bonvil, Cupar, Fife
