Estrees is a village in the north-western sector of the Department of the Aisne, 14 kilometres north of St Quentin. Estrees Communal Cemetery is situated just to the north of the village on the D71 which connects Estrees with Gouy. The Commonwealth War Graves will be found on the right hand side near the entrance of the cemetery.

The cemetery was used by the Germans; but their graves have been removed, and the British soldiers buried by them in March, 1918, have been reburied in St. Souplet British Cemetery. There are now over 10, 1914-18 war casualties commemorated in this site. Of these, a small number are unidentified. All fell in October, 1918.
