Isolated grave near Etricourt

On a hillside 600 metres south-west of Etricourt-Manancourt Communal Cemetery is buried a British airman, killed whilst flying over enemy lines and was buried by the Germans beside his machine.
 

Burial Details:
A private memorial commemorates Capt. Cecil Robert TIDSWELL, 1st Royal Dragoons and 19th Sqdn. Royal Flying Corps. Died 16th Oct. 1916, aged 36. Son of Richard H Tidswell of 49 Wilton Crescent, Wimbledon, London
