Hallines is five kilometres south-west of St. Omer.

Hallines Churchyard contains two Commonwealth burials of the First World War.

Pte. John CURWEN, Royal Army Medical Corps. 27th July 1915, aged 18. Son of John and Annie Curwen of 5 St. James Street, Shaw, Oldham
 
Driver Eric Ernest LARSEN, 18th Brig., Royal Field Artillery. 2nd Oct. 1917, aged 19. Brother of Mrs. Isabel Barber of 74 South Street, Dingle, Liverpool
