Joncourt Communal Cemetery

Joncourt is a commune 14 kilometres north of St Quentin. The Cemetery will be found behind the village church. Three of the Commonwealth war graves are located left on the main path near the entrance, and the other 2 Commonwealth war graves are on the right of the path near the rear of the Cemetery.

Pte. Arthur Everatt BACON. 1/6th Bn. Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment). Died 3rd October 1918.

Capt. A. W. FIELD. 48th Sqdn. Royal Flying Corps. Died 9th January 1918. Age 31. Son of Edward Field, of Blackdown Hill, Leamington, Warwickshire.

Capt. Charles Lee GRAVES. Canadian Infantry (Nova Scotia Regiment) attd. Royal Flying Corps. Died 24th April 1917.

Bmdr. Ralph POTTS. 6th A.F.A. Bde. Australian Field Artillery. Died 9th October 1918. Age 21. Son of Beatrice Matilda and the late James Potts. Native of Bolton, England.

2/Lt. Walter Sydney SMITH. 48th Sqdn. Royal Flying Corps. Died 9th January 1918. Age 25. Son of Harold and Jane Smith, of "Aston Clinton," Queen's Rd., Loughton, Essex; husband of Margaret Smith.
