L'Etoile is a village in the Department of
the Somme, some 20 km South-East of Abbeville. The original church has
been destroyed and replaced by a more modern style church named Chapelle
Sainte Anne. There is one burial in the North-East corner of the new
ground.

Dvr. J. WEIR, 15th Div. Ammunition Column
Royal Field Artillery. Died 31st July 1916, aged 19. Son of Mrs.
Margaret Weir of 5 James Street, Glasgow. Native of Avonbridge,
Stirlingshire.
