General Directions: Aulnoye is a village and commune in the Department of the Nord, across the Sambre from Berlaimont.

For much of the First World War, the communal cemetery at Aulnoye was used by the Germans for the burial of their own dead as well as Italian, Commonwealth, French and Russian prisoners of war. Further burials were carried out by the 5th Dorsets in November 1918.
