General Directions: St Nazaire is a coastal town in the Department of the Loire Inferieure 72 kilometres west of Nantes and 128 kilometres south-west of Rennes. The Commonwealth War Graves Plot lies within the grounds of the Communal Cemetery, which is not far from the railway and bus station.
There are now over 80, 1914-18 war casualties commemorated in this site. Four of the British graves, now among the French, came from St. Nazaire American Cemetery.
