This site contains NEW Photographs of all 940 cemeteries in France and Belgium of 40 or more burials visited by Sidney C. Hurst whilst compiling his 1929 book "The Silent Cities", All of these cemeteries have been personally visited and photographed by ourselves, the site also contains many other military cemeteries and memorials from all around the world.
Much of the information on this website has been taken from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, with their permission. Our thanks to them for their kind assistance.
